Fitted some new (to me) exhaust hangers to get rid of the rear foot pegs. Bit tidier now.

I performed a Stage 1 bafflectomy: 4 x 12mm holes drilled into the ends of the muffler. Looking forward to hearing the results!

I also pulled the clutch slave, rod and sprocket cover and chain guard and removed about a ton of splooge. I also cleaned, polished and lubed the clutch pushrod. It's all so silky smooth now! And adjusted and lubed the chain.

I got my wife to take two heads down into the depths of Kent to have 1mm oversize inlet valves fitted, and the seats blended in.

Mmmm. Wa. haahaaaa.
I feel a bhp or two heading my way, (pun intended).

Should come in about £250 all in.

Local bike shop have said that the cases are now welded up where they cracked and coolant was leaking out, so that's ready to collect Sat and rebuild started, also remote Hagon shock to be pulled off once its collected ready to be sent off for its rebuild.

Slow but sure progress, hopefully.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

One step at a time I think. Will try 4 holes first, then 8 and then....

I don't have early morning starts that might upset neighbours but I am just a little uneasy about keeping the MOT man happy (here we call it a WOF=warrant of fitness) as I only have the stock cans to play with. I've already strained my lovely wife's fiscal tolerance by buying a second bike so don't want to blow too much cash too soon. However in time I think a nice set of Yoshi cans might be acquired :D

Here's a 6 minute video clip taken from the front of the VTR on Sunday, using my cheap GoPro knockoff. Most of the sound is transmitted vibration, (this was pre the bafflectomy). Enjoy!
