After deliberating with myself with a sensible sober head, as much as I would like to, I wont be able to make it. It's this or upgrade my forks. I would like to get my forks done in time for the Wales trip which I have my name down for, and there's the Monopoly run soon.

Won't have been paid in time for this so I'm gonna have to pull out actually as I won't be able to afford it  bummer. I'll hopefully meet some of you on the July and September rides though :D

Update for New Members

Post by Flatline »

Although these meetings involves camping, you don't have to camp

You are welcome to come along to the run without having to stay overnight

You are also welcome to come along on Friday and Saturday evening to meet everyone

And you can join us during the ride to enjoy part of the route

And as you can see, This ride will be split into 2 groups to cater for intermediate/less experienced riders

So there is no worry about being new/slow/inexperienced or even fast, there is a group for you

I can tell you now that meeting members of the forum really makes a difference to the online experience

So why not make the effort to get along to one of the meetings?

You won't be disappointed and you will be welcome

You sound like a salesmen flatline

I don't need to be convinced, the route you took me on when I was up there last year was enough to sell me.

Cmon lads the more the merrier, it will be a good weekend

Hi buddy was looking at the length of the ride it's like over 7 hours it said, will the group be stopping for a sit down at some point like for any food? I don't want to sound like an old git but my new one is not as comfortable at distance as the storm and I'm worried I'll be broken if i don't get off it for a period and stretch back

Lol I'm with you mate, I'm not going to be particularly comfy on mine, so will definitely be making stops. Luckily loads of good places to stop in the Dales.
