You Guys are Crazy
So as my bike is multi coloured, if I go on a journey does that mean the silver bits will arrive to my destination before the black bits???
...and How long will I have to wait for the pies?

And dont trust NASA they spent a fortune developing a pen that would work in space and the Ruskies just took a pencil
So with the ruskies always being cold that would make them BLUE do we need to keep going

Silver is fastest.
My dad said so.
Ergo, end of discussion.

again...
Kitch....the SR-17 was painted black because it used radar reflective paint, which ironically was black, it had nothing to do with the colour.
Timbo...the X-43A is in fact WHITE. Only the CGI model's are shown as black. Black is rarely used during aircraft test phases. (it uses scranjet technology however it is rumored that the pulse engines are better and will be devolved over with the ruskies!)
Black generating less heat again is not true to my knowledge. The black undersides of the NASA space craft use the same technology as implied in the X-43 and actually implemented on the SR-17 (in a lesser form). It uses a carbon composite materials, the base colour of which is black.
The fokker triplane was not that slow, its top speed was only about 4 miles an hour slower than the British sopwith (triplane not camel). However as the design dictates more air is passed over the top leading edge unlike a biplane so in high G dives the top wing would be ripped off. This is what the DR1 was famous for, aside from this it was a top notch aircraft favored by many aces such as Goering!
Paint weights have nothing to do with base colours. Reflective or metallic paints are exceptions.

Black
is used during production and development of aeroplanes, trust me on that one! I have recently finished working with BAEs on the Typhoon and the prototype was gloss black. I tried sneaking in at night and spraying one up in glorious sexy red but ............

Colour of the sun to the human eye? Yellow.
Light from it travels at 186,000 miles per second so that yellow (light) wins. Simple logic!!!!!
RED Dwarf = Comedy = joke
BLACK holes = Very dense/heavy. 'nuff said.

Sorry tim, ill include a better photo! I bet you your mirrors that its an X43!
its unmaned and in the test phases, those black ones are just "what if" pics!
i think youve hit the nail on the head there...blatantly WHITE is the fastest colour (and rarest thus fastest!)

Those B52's earn their dollars! They seem to do anything from dropping experimental aircraft to deforestation missions in Nam.
