Nice looking bike Tim, always like that style of bike ( a real blokes machine!) , did you not consider the CB1300 or XJR

I did consider them, and also the GSX 1400, a beast of a bike but had to be the kwak. Would have gone for the XJR but they arent so easy to come by either. The GSX always came up cheapest, obviously for a reason. And i am not keen on the CBR, its ok but i love the looks of the Kwak and its a trip down memory lane as i had a Lawson Rep 2 bikes after i passed my test at the age of 18. Those were the days, ride a 50 for a year, ride a 250 for as long as it takes to pass your test, buy the biggest beast you can afford all before the age of 18.

when I took my test it was on a 49cc Mobylette with pedals. Straight off that onto anything you liked. OK there wasn't the power about then that there is now but a 650 Thunderbird was a bit wicked and good for 120, plus there was no national speed limit in those days. That didn't come later until Jaguar started taking the piss testing E Types up the M1 at 150.

And there is you taking the piss out of us cbrgsxrkwak riders and you go and buy that! Not my bag mate but as long as you like it that is the main thing. It does look quite meaty and fast though.

The test in Cyprus is (or was up to a few years ago) very similar, ride up to a roundabout and come back

Lots of forces lads passed their test over there then swapped it for a UK one on return from posting ( the loophole is now closed I believe).
