apart from the fact theyre busy till tuesday now ..o well might have another look tomorow! the saga continues...

But from the look of the pistons in the pics I recon the piston needs to be popped out along with the o-seals and it all given a major scrub. Half the time the dirt get down the sides of the seal and stops it flexing back and forth with the piston so you get a constantly dragging pad.

Hopefully they can sort it out quickly and get your MOT done at the same time.

I think your right pete, there was so much grime in there! How long do you think this would take them/cost normally? (theyre on the more expensive side £65ph labour i think!)

Half an hours labour as long as they dont replace seal, I would feel hard done to if they billed over £40 quid (without seal cx).

I'd bet they manage to hang it out for an hour though
