Yes as someone has suggested the tail piece is from Mario Nava in Italy
http://web.tiscali.it/mario_nava/vtr1000_b_e.html
I will be removing it in the next couple of months to make way for a new R1 back end.
Once I am happy with the end result I will be selling the complete back end. I doubt I will want any more than £450 for the lot..... that is tail piece, modified subframe, twin titanium pipes and clearview tail light with integrated indicators.
If I get no joy selling the lot as a whole then I will have to split the bits which would be a shame.
If you live near Notts I would even help the buyer fit the parts just to see them going to a good home.

what rads can you use???
really thinking long and hard about converting mine.
there is even a bloke on the superhawk site that fitted his underneath his seat....smart!

I had one of my radiators modified, think I used the LHS one, basically blocked off one of the pipes, moved another added a filler neck and put on a mounting bracket.
The rad works fine while the bike os on the move but the temp gauge moves up quickly when the bike is stationary in the summer months.
You will need to move the oil cooler before you can contemplate moving the rad. I took my old cooler pipes apart and got some new braided hose crimped in place at a local hydraulics company.
I thought I had some close up photos of the cooler but can't find them.
