Talkin aboot diets,i told my kids i'd be king of the beach for the holidays,......more like king of the beached whales they said

Ive just googled the ones above,they are totally different to ours,which are more like a crispy oaty biscuit ,whereas those look like what we call crumpets

Nah Tim,up here a pancake is smaller dia. and aboot half inch thick,whereas crumpets are twice the dia. and thin and floppy.
I know what you mean though,cos when ive been down the south coast in supermarkets,the crumpets are like our pancakes with holes in them.
