Well my excuse for only managing the low miles is that up untill June I only had one week off in 48
call me sad if you like but it was work to survive, and try to finish the holiday let at nights and weekends, with a fair sprinkiling of slow paying customers along the way.
Never mind I managed 90and a bit miles on the run that I mentioned on the initiall post, it was great, sun shining all the way
, what with rst's leathers and kitches Blue flame evos what more can I say
apart from the old biddie in the light metallic blue Vauxhall frontera who edged out of the side road to the right of me(about 6 miles from home) and got her equally old biddie passenger to check for traffic and could'nt of seen me (how the -u-k not, with a luminous dayglow flash on the helmet and my lights on, not to mention the red/black/silver leathers), well she kept on coming out like a bloody snail on crutches
.
Thank goodness for new pads and lines, I must say that I thought it was going to hurt big time, no grass verge to possibly run up on to, to take my chances just a steepish bank (Evil Kinevil, sp) I aint. Couldnt gun it past her due to a bit of a crest. I missed the back of the old -itch by about 2-3 feet, how I did'nt lose the front I will never know, managed to compose myself, found the gears again and passed her further down the road. (plenty of pointing to the eyes hand signals) The look on her face took me by surprise I could have sworn she was smirking.
I hope she and her passengers remember the incident and that the next time they come to a junction they bloody well look properly.
THINK BIKE ya dopy clowns.
Right I feel better now.
Cheers
