Stevie (BP),

Down here it doesn't usually get that cold in the winter (well it hasn't done for the last two but it probably will now I've said that  ) and I find quite often a dry sunny day appears. Then if it's possible I'll take the bike out. No point IMHO like some do only taxing your bike for 6mths a year, as I find a good sunny day can appear anytime of the year.

Chris.

Would agree regarding taxing the bike Chris, the price is worth it even if only using a few times over winter.

Its just been a bummer of a week here, i've only saw dry roads once in a week, and that was only for a few hours :!:

I think in general winters have got milder up here , i know i dont have to scrape my windscreen in frosty mornings as much as i had to years ago ,deff not as much snow either,.......seems like more rain though :!:

Or maybe it just seems like that when desparate to get a bike run :(

Sadly no joy for me, daily commute so its spent plenty of time getting wet this year. have to laugh though. went round the outside of a guy on his fireblade on the way home yesterday. Whats the point of full leathers with sliders and a £500 Arai if you try to take corners almost upright.

Other than that riding throught the winter is crap. Don't do it if you have an option.
