Bought a dogcam for my boyfriend last christmas for his track days. It was £400ish with the recorder, but the footage is quite good which is why I'm mentioning it.
If you look at you can have a look at some of his footage, and this is link to the website for the cameras: http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/?kw=bullet ... 1AodFG79xA

I know it's pricey but my boss bought one for £40 and you can tell the difference!!!

Hope this is helpful :)

Wienetta.
Yeah, that footage is better than the std Oregon ATC2K, but I'm not sure it is five times better which is the cost ratio here.
Still, like most things the more you pay the better it is. Still, the unit can get wiped out the same though so I'll stick with the cheap option.

Beamish.
When I said 'cheap option' I of course meant the cheap option in comparison to the ones that NASA used.
The BBC wanted to borrow my kit but I said "No, you'll only waste its capabilities filming a Mr J Ross grovelling"!

This cam mount is easily fitted and barely noticeable...

It's a camera? Thought it was an air-horn.
