i have 92 -93blade forks on mine .
you will need new wheel spacers

and you will need to space the calipers in 3mm each side
hope this helps

Yes I've come back to a storm yet again 8-) it's one of Del's old ones, I sold it to a friend a few years ago and have just got it back, my 6th storm I think! Way back when, I did have a storm blade conversion for awhile, just happens that a chap in work has got a rolling chassis for a 93 blade which had a bit of fire damage in a recent shed incident, think I'll go and see it for the front end and swingarm(brace) if it can be got for a reasonable sum.
Jon, good luck with the Blade idea's  do keep us posted.

Seeing as your bike is one of Del's old ones, does this mean it's had a bit of work done to it :?:

Going over some of the posts on page one of this thread, I see Jbrebel had the same promblem with wheel and caliper spacers as Lloydie.

Should we say then you like Firestorms  seeing as you've now got number six  :D

I cant remember what Del did to it, feels fit enough. Neil robinson had it before me, iirc i think he said it had been dynamically balalnced ??? may be some titanium sprinkled around inside as well dunno really, would be nice to dyno it sometime but no dynos close to me as far as I know. I'm not planning any engine work at all, just a bit of tinkering suspension wise. Yes I like the old storms, cracking value for money now fuel range doesnt bother me, fun factor is high.

That will be the crankshaft that has been dynamically balanced, probably the flywheel too. I have heard of Firestorm owners who've had this done say the bike will tick-over quite happily at 800rpm.

I agree cracking value for the money and the small tank doesn't bother me either
