Actually, the bargains dont end there.
The lad I bought it off was giving up biking for a few years coz of a young daughter and chucked in all his riding gear. 2 leather suits, 1 worn once and 1 worn twice. A Spada textile suit, worn once. A suomy helmet, worn once. A pair of alpinestar race boots that are in much better condition than mine. A paddock stand and a spare front tyre and spare rectumfrier. Only problem is that although the guy is the same hight as me he's a right skinny cnut

None of the suits fit me, lol. I can just about get the jackets on but the zips arnt anywhere close to meeting, lol. Damm my love of unhealthy food. No problem, I'll ebay the lot of them and treat myself to some new gear at the Scottish bike show in a couple of months unless someone on here is about 5'8 or 5'9, in need of a fish supper or 2 and fancies some new clothing.

So what did he wear while riding?
Or is it that nude biker on YouTube?
All the gear, no idea?
Don't forget that on ILF's you have to use the brakes when you want to slow down

Cupa, I had a gear indicator on the Storm and it needed it but on the Blade it will pull in top from 35-40mph and it will do 84mph in first (tested

) so changing down for bends is never too dangerous just the odd backing in moment if you let the clutch out a bit sharpish. It took me a while to get used to the higher revs and the fact that from 7k upwards it starts to really pull

Its an early sportsbike with plenty of mid range power though so you dont have that lag that is so evident on more track focused machines.

I'm having the same 'searching for 7th gear' probs on the blackbird but once I've got the speed to revs ratio's imprinted on me brain it'll become less of an issue

SP's ratio in top is a neat 20/1 ie 60mph = 3 (x000)rpm
blackbird uses a few more rpm, gonna be about 17.972/1 - hmm maybe I better buy a gear indicator for that or maybe mount a calculator on the bars

Right then, crappy stickers taken off and the correct button pressed on the camera that make the colours look nice, just for Deano. Is that better?

Has it had some repair work on the fairing lowers? the reason I ask is it looks like the grey decals are standing proud instead of being laqured over??
Might just be the pic, still nice though mate.

Nice looking bike mate - bet you'll miss the soul of the Storm, but will prolly make up for it in other ways

Sweeet! Cuppa
Little Bro had one before his R6 and we were always swapping bikes on a ride out. I really enjoyed the CBR even if it did get a bit too lively if the road surface was rough.
They're pretty much bullet proof though and think nothing of munching any sort of mileage you care to throw at it. I can remember many a time of ragging it for a couple of hundred miles and having to stop for a fag, worn, spent, totally knackered and the bike just looking back at seaming to say "Is that all you got? Come on, give me some more"
Yep! fond memories of that beastie
Oh! and Mrs Cuppa
I like it
I think your Biased.....has he let you out on it yet?
