Good job guys,

small pick though sorry.

you go to all that effort to get LED's in the head light ??

but don't change the side light bulb itself to an LED bulb which would finish the look of with the ultra bright white lights, instead of the dull yellow standard bulb shade.

just a thought.

Already done that - just don't have pics...

I managed to get my old 7r completely free of filament bulbs - with LEDs, HID and electroluminescant guages...

:whatever

I have the bulb replaced with a super bright white SMD LED item, it can be clearly seen at night and is a lot lot brighter than the standard bulb.

Image <these just fit in snug

i was thinking about replacing the H4 bulb with a H4 SMD LED but was unsure because although LED's are bright they dont cast/throw the light like a conventional bulb

i did have a HID unit fitted replacing the standard H4 bulb, used it for 6 month's, in its standard housing it would recommend it to be honest scatters the light everywhere and its just to dam bright other road users was constantly flashing me problem thinking i had full beam on.... then I would flick the full/hi beam back at them, must have been like looking into the sun!

since I have gone back to a standard h4 I do feel more vulnerable as most my riding is a night or when its going dark (I work nights) I can't see half what I used to be able too and vice versa.

I would however love one of those units that RST Steve has but no idea where to get my hands on one or what the hell needs to be done or if it would go through the MOT (took mine off for the MOT, and not bothered to refit)

Clive your LED's look the bees knees mate! where did you get yours from? I like it how it goes up the sides as well, looks quite factory, thumbs up!
