Diamond geezer - if he can manage another 50mm longer at the can end it'd be great, if not - or it's too late, then never mind :D

Have a "virtual pint" on me! :Beer1:

I have to put my hands up and say I have not seen Wayne yet since I have been stuck at work during his working hours. I don't like to bother him at night since his wife moans.
Should be popping round there on Thursday morning mate.

If I want to take off my rear foot pegs, where can I get hangers from if I have bespoke pipes?

Stormsmasher, can your mate bend me a pair that would work like that?

You would need to get your bike into the factory if you want a set of pipes that look high and cool but fit without rear footrests. Anything is possible with exhausts and Wayne at JACexhausts makes loads of one off stuff as well as off the shelf pipes.

Give Wayne a call on 01159 635556 and tell him I have asked you to call..........oh I'm Daz, not sure he will know me as stormsmasher...lol!!!

JIMMYJAMES wrote:What do you think? Now the other cans are sold i can reveal that the full kit including the link pipes, brackets, clamps, hangers and DB killers cost the tiny sum of £90 including carriage, bargain me thinks! Now all i have to do is sort out the minor damage. I have ordered a new strap from A16 with some extra rivets so the plan now ist to remove the sleve rub it back with wet and dry and attempt to polish it. I will keep this thread updated with progress with more pictures of course.

JFD as we say in the print trade (eventually, some snags/hiccups on the way, but I can fettle anything into shape)

Just need to get the undertray and hugger on. I sprayed the undertray at the weekend, got a new reflector today. so just need to cut the lock hole, then secure it with trim tape and a couple of well hidden self tappers....

Desperately need to get patterns to cut and fab the hugger brackets - so watch out - if yours has one, and it's parked, you may see me tracing it....
