cheers mate, front master ok, think only damage is as listed above. just snapped lever, but snapped after where it bolts so replacement will bolt straight in.I really have got off lightly with the damage, after watching it leap in the air and crash down on its left side. Just left thinking wot if i hadnt bailed out, id be in a hospital bed :)

off to see bike later, so will have a more thorough check over.

Work been good, and give me 3 extra days hols, so dont have to go back to work now till the 18th of next month :):)

party time

Really bad luck mate, bad enough to see your pride and joy bouncing down the road you then have to put up with some snotty cooper triying to fill his crime sheet, thankfully there not all like that. Anyway to your list I have a set of forks probably in need of a service and a clean up yours if you want them, there off my 2000 storm which I've put SP1 forks on. You need to get it back on the road while the good weathers here.

whats the yokes like tho?
and the lock stops on the frame?
mot failure if theres a trap zone between the bars and the tank - you might need to tig a bit of ally back on the stops - i did!
my front spindle was bent as well - was a tawt to get out!
try rolling it on glass to see if its gone.

all ok mate, the forks must be made of putty or summat, everything else looks straight Only one fork is bent, the side that hit the road first. head stock bearings in good nick too. Stops are spot on. Biggest damage is the bent fork. :biggrin

Jesus, man, you hit the turbo button instead of the horn!

Gotta be more careful out there, the world looks nice but it's hard when you hit it!

What colour you going for this time?

main thing , and i know its been said is your here to tell the tail. lucky no car following close behind, or you could of bounced into the oncoming traffic. hope you get the bike sorted soon and that you mend fast without too much pain

most annoying thing is loads of bikes a few mins later came past and didnt stop, and it was a car driver that stopped, and he picked my bike up onto the stand for me too. Top man  What ever happened to the bikers code ?? i always slow or stop until i know the biker is ok, usually by a thumbs up. Those days are gone :(

Glad to hear your in one piece, albeit a bit sore and bruised  . As others have said at least a bike is repairable or replacable, have a few more    that will dull the pain lol
