Another 7 days? Wow mate, you must be badly. A buddy of mine just had a double hernia operation, quite a nasty one, he's in horrific pain. They chucked him out after 1 night. Apparently, even that is rare for hernias, most are done in a day....no beds I guess. 2+ weeks means a bloody serious condition/and/or risk of infection

risk of infection mate, just had the skin graft yesterday, you should have seen the dressing they put on the donor site where the skin was taken from, what a joke, it's like an open wound, when they called someone from plastics to look at it at 11.30pm last night, she couldn't believe how badly it had been dressed in theatre.
no wonder i'll be in here for another week, infection is almost garunteed i'm afraid.................

Sounds like you are going through the wars physically and mentally!
I know what u mean about hospitals, feel like you get ill if you go there, not cured!!
We will have to post photos of the rest of us NOT having any fun when we are out on our bikes today...should make you feel better

looks like a decent day for riding aswell amcq46, have fun lads, at least i can see the air amberlance take off and land for my hospital bed, those guys saved my bacon last year..........

With all that traffic in central London I prefer the quieter roads down here, although this time of the year they're not that quiet, but by London standards they probably are
It actually stayed dry after the earlier light showers for the rest of the day

but didn't get a chance to take the bike out,
