i lived in gidea pk and upminster bridge for 15yrs, i always thought it was a nice part of london. thank fully i never had a need to call on your services

Like all 999 services, they are an insurance policy that you hope never to have to use, but when you need them they are there quick and do a good job. Shame the government have different ideas!

your not wrong mate, i had a mate whose been a fireman all his adult life and some of the stories he's told me are unbelievable/sad/horrific you name it, if only members of high ranking govt spent some real time in your shoes, i'm sure there mentallity would change. my mate was at walthamstow f/s for most of his career, now he's out at clacton.

Congrats, of course. I was worried about renewing my licence but when the renewal came in it had the addresses of local post offices where you could do it over the counter, I got my licence back in a week. Retired now from Merseyside fire & civil defence was based mostly in the southern divn,but did a number of years in central & north Liverpool .
spent some time at Liverpool airport before it was privatised
