road tax should never be linked to mileage, think about it, it already exists, what do you think the tax on fuel is............. the more mileage the more fuel the more tax you pay, it ain't rocket science.
and for god sake you wouldn't mind if we had the best roads in the world but we haven't they're shite, the whole system is a rip off. and now they're talking about privatising the road network because they can't afford to keep it up to standard, what a croc of shite, as it was said earlier 13% of road tax is spent on the roads, well spend 100% and you wouldn't have to privatise it,........grrrrrrrr
wake up they're taking the piss out of motorists :Argue 1:
rant over for now

i've got good reason, my bike wasn't even mot'd because there was to many things wrong with it
fair enough, he could have tried to mot it but it would have failed straight away, the fella says theres to much play in the head bearings and to put new ones in might cost £160.........yeah right.
do i still need an mot to buy road tax?
i would have liked to bought it tomorrow before the price goes up :(

Yes mate you need the MoT & insurance. Do the head bearings just need nipping up? Surely your mechanic would have noticed had it needed new bearings, wouldn't he? What else do you need for the ticket?

i reckon its the mot man trying to make money out of me, because my mechanic would deffo have noticed it and he rode it aswell.
disconnect the rear led indi's from the all in one led rear tail unit, sort out a very cheap pair of rear indi's and a bracket for them so i don't have to drill holes in my undertray.
fix both rear lugs that snapped when i pushed to hard on the tail light whilst trying to bump start the bike....doh!
try and find out why i haven't got side lights
adjust bar risers because they are just touching the tank on full lock.
and the previously mentioned head bearing.
he never noticed i haven't got a front sprocket cover, or the chain guard has rubbed against the rear wheel......
replace a couple of fuses that blew, my fault that one

if i can get snoogles undertray and rear light sorted asap i wouldn't need to piss about with the rear lights which would be a result.
