cheers mate , im happy with it needs a few wee bits tidying up ,will have to drop the fork n reroute the throttle cable as its reving when on right lock but its going phastasphuk right now , keep getting blown back to seat hump (thank god its there)

Well done mate, only needs some blue paint to A)make it quicker, B)make it look better, & C)because if I missed an opportunity to wind someone up I wouldn't sleep well!!

i do like the twin headlight, like lloydie said, how did you get the blade rear wheel to fit, i looked into it, but it looked like it was gonna be a nightmare.... :x

+1 on the wheel i didnt think the 954 would work so i sold it

and yes the 954 rear is a lot lighter as is the front

hi guys , the rear wheel was a bit of a mistake actually , i had it all cleaned and painted because it looked like it may fit but
as you all know it dont!, anyhoo before that i took the bike to my local mech , i had no means to get the swinger off and hold the bike up (should have bought the kit from abba) so while it was there i asked him to see about getting the wheel on , went back with the swinger and left him to it ,went back later in the week and he was waiting on spacers or bearings or both !! anyway end of week and it was on ,, so nowt to do with me , if he'd said it wont fit i'd have said fairnuff and turned away , pretty sure its just spacers tho , as i did this yrs back on my old zx10 to put the zzr11 rear wheel in ,
next time i take the wheel off i will measure the spacers........... :beer:

No you shouldn't have as the swingarm kit they sell don't work with the storm. Just ask Kev :lol:

The thing to do is adapt the stand to jack up off the engine castle nut mount thing majig. :thumbup:

tell me about it mate, heres a list of jobs still to do on my bike
fit tank
fit blue fireblade calipers
buy and fit new carbo hel front lines
buy and fit stomp grips
re-trim seat
paint rear subframe
possibly powdercoat wheels
fit new tyres
possible new headlight in the pipeline
buy and fit new bar risers from the states
there probably more...... :lol: :lol: :lol:
it never ends

will try to remember and post some when i get up this afternoon ,not long in , i work nights , im gonna be getting the swinger beefed up , got the blade swinger waiting for the chop, gonna get the foot pegs n brackets etc sent off to be powder coated got a side number plate bracket that i wanna try on ,,gonna have to shift my horn (no biggy) as its catching the fairing , oh and remember you said the blue parts wouldnt show when fitted , ohhhhhh you were wrong ! another no biggy tho ! and wanna maybe try the vfr tank ,im used to doing good miles on my bikes and its really starting to annoy me now as im using more fuel nowadays grin factor is still high tho ,, later dude

have changed the bars since these photo's and put the blade bars i got of seb on , which are a lot lower and narrower and more to my liking , still a good few bits to do tho but at least she is handling like she should now
