For what I do and what I get paid it's not too bad.
I have my class 1 but the wages for the hours worked doing the class 2 multi is better than any class 1 work I can get, i'd rather be at home than driving all day!!
Who is that for Geoff??

UPS are some of the highest paid drivers if you want to have a look at there website, and they get treats and sh1t every week off there respective bosses in the area
https://upsjobs.managehr.com/indexMini. ... d=1&pid=-1
our 'shunter' drivers that do wombles apart from move a few things in the yard and the occasional run somewhere if and when required all basic are on 17-18 quid an hour and some are doing 50+ hour weeks
Not many jobs other driving a HGV can you have a kip during your working day / night, if i had a car licence which i might do this year? i would then go get a HGV one asap after that
Plus you get to Convoy with your mates and meet up at services and all that baldrocks looks a good social crack and there are some right characters that come into our place every night

I drive for CEVA logistics (used to be TNT) delivering tyres to Kwik Fit centres.
It's a job and knock arrangement and some days we don't even need a 45 min break!! The longest part of the day is getting to your fist drop, after that you're working your way closer to home. It's not a great job and the centre managers/staff can be very hard work but I just get on with my work and get home and let anyone that annoys me know about it!!
