welcome to the forum buddy
your bike has a few modded items, hugger, gold bar ends, gold wheels, small indicators, tinted d/b screen, fender extender. i like gold wheels myself but i'm not sure they work on a black bike. depending where you live, it cost roughly £50 a wheel to powder coat them, or you could paint them yourself for the cost of some rattle cans and some sandpaper.

that would be mine !! and no its certainly not a case of a TL1000 wana-be which in my opinion is the worst looking v-twin out there ...clearly you feel threatened by the classiness of my blue and white paint job due the insecurity of the color of your wheels!

Hey Chris
I was the same when i was bidding on ebay, all that kept going round my head was what colour can i get them wheels done in, then i picked the beast up and really liked em, think they'll stay that colour now.
Cheers guys, made me feel really welcome, surely being a Honda this forum should be really quiet as my past history with Honda's has been trouble free
Whats the deal with changing to manual adjusters on the cam chain? is it a big or expensive job?

See now Black is the colour of darkness and thats even faster than light. Think about it, you turn the lights on because darkness got there first.
Welcome to the forum from another black Storm owner.

Welcome to the forum from another black Storm owner.

You black owners need to stick together - it gets lonely at the back....

Hi tail,
Whats the deal with changing to manual adjusters on the cam chain? is it a big or expensive job?
You can either go for the stop mod View Topic
http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 31&t=19416 Which is the Honda auto CCT's that are converted to a fail safe. So if/when it does fail, it don't send the valves through your pistons.
Or
You go for the full manual conversion, your options are here
http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 16&t=22720
Then with regards to fitting View Topic
http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=8326 or come along to one of our workshop days.
Where's your location?
Have Fun

I nearly painted my wheels gold recently when I had to replace both wheels (my bike is red if you hadn't guessed

), but chickened out last minute, the main reason is black doesn't seem to show up the dirt/dust quite so quick. Your shade of gold works well with the black IMHO

P/F that description is one of the best I've ever seen
Chris.
