Chric, it's a good idea to go and try some on mate, I have and I thought those were uncomfortable
The alpinestars track vest was really comfortable
There is such a varied choice
First thing would be to make a decision as to whether you will buy all new stuff or add to what you have
Though the biggest thing is the cost
But lets face it, just adding something like a chest protector is going to be better that what most people have now

i'm relying on my moobs for protection at the moment, although there big they ain't as good as a chest protector...
