Yeah they where nice in there time. Power bands really are a thing of the past lol. Dont miss buying the shed loads of 2 stroke oil tho..

2 Stroke Oil...now them where the days...GT250 was one of my first bikes.
Who here remembers the addictive smell of Castrol R..

Powerbands required more skill from the rider :)

Funnily enough I was peering through one of our local dealer windows today (shop closed as it's Sunday) and I noticed in their collection off older bikes that are not for sale, an RD500 8)

:lol: unfortunately I'm old enough to remember that beautiful fragrance, absolutely wonderful 8) My old 250 Rickman Montessa scrambler ran on the stuff.
