welcome to the forum buddy.
have a good read thru the workshop section and sort out any niggles the bike might have, you will find the storm to be a very different beast to an il4, some like it some don't. just enjoy riding a wave of torque.......

Wave of Torque!! I should say so!

Having quite a laugh so far...

No immediate evidence of mechanical worries, although the main fairing on the LHS is decidedly lose and rattly over the bumps... The whole thing is a bit tatty, and could do with a complete respray, TBH - but that can wait till much, much later! Having too much fun to care at the moment!!

The bike is initially a little reluctant on tipping into corners, but once it's there it's all good. Guess a 6mm raiser on the rear shock might be in order....

Art cans are NOISY!!

Cheers,
JB

A big Yes, makes a very good improvement. You may want to also consider upgrading the fork springs as well.

Apart from the mirror, the side fairing is only held on by a couple of bolts and a screw. You have the two allen key bolts to the side and at the front under the headlight by the fork brace, the fairing should be screwed into the base of the headlight surround. Also check that the fairing is clipped in to the edge of the headlight surround as well. It may have come loose if that screw is missing.

Have fun and ride safe
