My 1998 VTR
Re: My 1998 VTR
Number 1 from me but don't think it would work with the small fairing on the storm mind....

does changing the oil count as a 'modification' now??
When subjected to an electrical voltage of at least 50 volts, a cat's tail always points toward the north.

Number two for me. but it's hard to tell with it on an SP but I prefer the grey stripes across the tank it has a more modern look.

Re: My 1998 VTR
Found these online, don't know who owns it but its a good example of #2.

probably look better with a lower pan matched up

I think I'll go with a green front fender like option 3. I kinda like it.
Looks like option 2 is in the lead!

Also , if anyone has a Akrapovic full system with carbon cans to donate to me to aide in the authenticity of this project, please message me LOL!
Re: My 1998 VTR
That looks nice, defo needs the lower fairing to finish the look and I like the idea of a Green mudguard. The Red is kinda bold and stands out a bit too much which directs the eye in the wrong direction.
