I always liked the renegade cans I had on my Storm, carbon fibre, high levels.

Re: Exhaust style
Heres my Scorpion hi-levels.very tight next to the swing arm, but follow the seat perfectly.
Although you can see why my boots keep getting the heels melted...
I dont like the Sp pipes, I think the angle of the pipes clashes with the flow of the seat and fairing.
Re: Exhaust style
Was it you who bought them off me on ebay?rollingthunderx2 wrote:

Re: Exhaust style
I guess it's a matter of taste ;) the goose neck mid pipe is not the best looking thing and I think there is a trade here, but the swept exhaust look I tend to prefer more, just seems more in line with the rest of the bike, not necessarily with the tail alone.
Here is a picture from a trip two summers ago with a friend of mine that have swept look and I kinda like it.

So one of the nights this past week after getting the kids to sleep decided to play with the stock exhaust a bit, that's what came out:

Re: Exhaust style
Looks good bud but it bet it blows at the connections with that angle on them?
I tried it a few years ago and no matter how much I messed about I couldn't get a decent seal on the connecter

Re: Exhaust style
Good luck on getting it sealed in, I tried all manner of pastes and putty but all lasted about 2 weeks at the most, don't know if it was the heat or pressure but it kept blowing it out mate, just a heads up

Re: Exhaust style
It's the pressure mate, no doubt. I guess will see... had an idea that may just work in this case using a different type of clamp, thank's for the heads upseb421 wrote:Good luck on getting it sealed in, I tried all manner of pastes and putty but all lasted about 2 weeks at the most, don't know if it was the heat or pressure but it kept blowing it out mate, just a heads up

Re: Exhaust style
Try silicone (automotive), its all I use on exhausts as if stays flexible, also easier I find to clean up and make good as its clear already :-) worked well on my recently stubbied vipers....now just got to get the rest of the bike up to scratch

Sorry about the skanky red extra slow polo and the obligatory bins, weathers been to cack to get any decent pics :-(
