spent 4 days in ayr playing some lovely golf courses, blimey that was 15yrs ago, great people up there, we had lots of fun...

one of my planned roads for the SW Scotland Storm outing is the A713 from Dalry to Ayr, then back down the coast past Girvan then back to Newton Stewart via the A714.
like being in Motorcycle heaven
I bet you know both those roads

welcome to the forum and Storming around. There's a clan gathering up there it seems - would love a Storm meet up there, come on Al, need a date!

Yep, know those roads well.
The A713 is a great run, South of Loch Doon the scenery can be stunning on a dry day. Relatively quiet too.
North of Glasgow, the A82 up past Loch Lomond to Fort William is indeed another great road, worth sampling if you chaps do head north this year.
Fair to say it gets even better as you press on up, Skye is a fantastic run.
