Depending on date, I'd love to run the T on it. Should make for interesting reading

I'm not hiding, just been trawling through other unread posts.

I like the idea at a £10 a run which happens to be the same as the guy over the road from Marty's on Saturdays. I need to take into to consideration fuel cost from A to B as well. but yes I am provisionally up for it if we get enough numbers to bring the cost of dyno runs down to a £10 a run. Lets see if we can get the numbers to make it worthwhile.

I'm no tuning guru  But I have a good understanding of it.

Depends on if/how badly out your bike is. If you can get better fuelling then it could save in the long run.

The machine does not alter anything on the bike. It's basically a rolling road which measures power output along with a probe shoved up the exhaust to measure the AIr and fuel ratio. It then print out a sheet which gives you the reading to how the bike is performing with regards to HP and the Air and fuel ratio with your carb set up. It's a tool which gives you accurate readings so ones knows which direction to set their jetting up for optimal performance and fuelling. You could get lucky and only require the one run on the dyno or it could take half a dozen. Or you may just want to do the one run out of curiosity to see what sort off bhp your bike is giving out for bragging rights.

Bloody hell Carl, you were moaning like f*ck yesterday about not getting a decent ' pleasure ride' in, now theres a perfect opportunity to use the thing for what it was actually made for, and to boot you get to lecture the dyno bloke, and the petrol cost is an issue.

Why do you own a bike, to pebbledash and double glaze it ??

Come on ffs, we'll meet early this end somewhere, have a blinding ride on the twisties, and try to get a Scotsman to buy the teas
