Most parts undamaged, a slight scrape LH side but mostly it's front end. Might be an insurance write-off and start again with another one, and buy this one back as a spares or track bike.

I've offered him a ride home once he's ready to come out of hospital.

And yes, Wicky, he's already asked if I'll pop in in the morning to wipe his butt for him!

Not what I wanted to hear. I guess he's laughing it off at the moment as he's drugged up on opiates in hospital. Maybe he can share them with me. I hate hearing about these things like this especially when someone is hospitalised. Those poor nurses.

Well any help he needs with anything to get the bike fixed up or whatever I can make myself available.

Very sad news indeed but we can count our blessings he will live to tell the tale.

Yep, safe and sound- well, apart from the damage, of course

I do hate these posts. At least he is ok, if not in a lot of pain, it will remind him he is still alive. Get well soon buddy. Everybody else let this be a lesson. Take care out there

Don't mean to be distasteful, but on the bright side he has an excuse to sort out Frankensteins' monster now?

Don't like to hear of members going down. Glad he's not too bad. Pass on best wishes for a speedy recovery from a fairly silent member.
