I dunno, it didn't lose any tread when I wheeled it from the previous owners' shed into the van.. About 15 metres, the tyres must last forever!!!

Virt, I think there will be some value in your views, what with you being a younger generation than the rest of us old codgers and there has to be some interest in the reasons that drew you towards such an old school bike..........every other questionaire will be from an old bloke with pipe and slippers so you can bring a different point of view.

and then you can tell the world how you have been cyberbullied and groomed at the same time on this fine forum

Umm.. It's mighty purty, it sounds like hell on wheels, it's comfortable to sit on, it's cheap to insure, bigger engine than anything most people I know own (only my dad beats it with his 1050 ) and umm.. V-Twin

I'm with Virt. It's the noise that got me. The bloke who owned the bike before me is the brother of a bloke I work with who owned the bike before his brother who I brought it from and when the brother of the last owner bought it to work and start it I knew I had to have one.

How many of you followed that

Other thing was the missus said she felt more comfy on the back than she did the sv650 I had at the time. I have since changed the look of the bike(new paint and new sticker design, mechanic mods ect. The bike is easy to work on. As Virt said cheap insurance, made up by the price of the fuel you have to put in it and it's Honda so it is reliable.

But most of all that noise it makes with race cans on

Yes, remind me in October to tell work that I need a payrise cause my current pay won't cover the fuel of warming up the bike every morning

Unfortunately not been a storm owner long enough to fill in questionnaire! Although I'm more than impressed with it. You will definitely get all the info you need and more from the long term friendly and helpful storm owners on this site. Look forward to the magazine feature . Sorry Kev, you may not have received one, but I'm damn sure I sent one.... I was away following the Tour de France at the time so was accessing the interweb on an old laptop via a super-slow campsite wi-fi, so I guess it got lost in the ether. Anyway, message received and noted, will try and include something, but as has been reported above, the feature's been pushed back a couple of months so the moment may well have passed - what do you think?

Probably also a good time to say that due to the delay in publishing, there's still time for anyone who hasn't contributed to contact me at ridemagazine@orange.fr and ask for a questionnaire....
