9 times out of 10 I'll nod or hold up a hand if I see another biker. Really pi55es me off if I do not get one back. Only real times I don't is if I am really giving it some and a little to preoccupied on a corner to nod even though I have seen them. Mopeds will sometimes get a nod depending on what they are wearing. Plenty of 125 around my area that wear proper gear so they get a nod. It is always nice to get a nod from another biker, seems to make the ride even more enjoyable (or is that just me?)

They ain't bikers they are :gay:

Oi I ride a Halrley, bloody power ranger lot, look all the same in their one piece romper suits, standing by tea huts on sunday when they actually ride it 5 miles down the road when its not raining and only in the summer, almost crashing 10 times, to show their mates how fast their crocth rocket goes on the Dyno, and telling porkers about how they smoked an R1.

do you know what ive been riding since i was 11 thats 40 years obviously not all that time on the road, but i will nod at anyone on two wheels as we all have to start somewhere, but what has pissed me off just the last few years are certain cruiser folks who earn far to much and class themselves as above the rest of us , fashion statements on a sunny sunday on their chrome plated machines , now i know i may be generalising but i would sooner acknowledge a youngster on a twist and go than get a blank from some solicitor who wannabee

You guys have made be re-consider my attitude to scooter riders you bring up some very good points. I shall now make more of an effort to include them more.
It's funny those guys in their suits on cruisers. I no exactly the type you mean get loads of them off to work in the city during rush hour in London.

I wave at everybody.
You never know when you gonna need a bump start with a Honda RR.

Skyman you get them on Sports bikes to mate, they often go for the newest, lastest, fastest, shiniest bike, and often wear matching leather, matching everything.
Just like the long way round clones on BMW, they even stand up on the foot pegs the min they hit a spot of grass.
The showboaters on any brand or type of bike are usally easy to spot.

So do I, people should know the difference between waving and me trying to warn them that Harley brakes really dont work and to move out the way as soon as possible

That is very true but not in matching leather. It looks very strange when someone in a suit is riding a sports bike.

If it's got gears, they usually get a nod
if the Mrs is on the back she will usually wave as long as were not going too quick
