Its okay getting your hands dirty, its just that it also emptied my wallet in the process. Not altogetherhappy with it at the mo. Runs fine after getting it "fixed". But its now got an annoying rattle from the front. Hoping its just a case of re-adjusting the chain slightly. Anyone got any ideas?
Dont think the mechanic was "up" on the whole CCT thing

Check the threads on this forum out before running it. There a posse of Stormers in your area that would be willing to help you out.

Probably not been tightened up enough. Does the rattle go once the bike is fully warmed up. A slight rattle when cold is normal but it should go as things expand with the heat as the engine gets up to full running temp. But if I was you and as you and your son are happy to give things a go, have a read of the MCCT thread in my signature, it would be best to check the tension.

welcome to the team. sounds like you want to recheck the tension of the front CCT. suggest you take the front cam cover off and check tension as per the instructions in workshop knowledge base

Evening guys,
Thanks for offer the to meet up at squires ady, But I`m reluctant to ride the bike until I get the CCT issue sorted.
