Are you and Saintsnan separated at birth?

I thought Saintsman was Scottihachi in disguise when he first joined.

Yes its a very under rated bike. Journalists seem only interested in the latest models, the firestorm is a very very good bike.

Hi mate and welcome to the forum. As you are already finding out they are a good helpful bunch here which really make owning a VTR a real pleasure. I like you have an orange one and can tell you that the colour really does grow on you. At first its a bit oh eck! But then the love affair begins, all your mates know that its you (lets face it they can't miss you), the colour becomes addictive, all the hallucinations do subside though apart from KTM owners waving to you then their faces turning to disgust as you pass.

Don't help where I live very close to a KTM dealership here
It's quiet easy why we like our VTRs and the reason for that is because they have character. They are not the bikes that are so soulless that they smell of TCP. Oh no, they are the ones that with decent cans on let everyone know that they are there, loud, a little temperamental, coughs , farts, roars, have lovely smooth torque which catches you unawares at times and carry a rider with a big grin across his or her face. In essence...they bring the fun back into bikes.
Look in the workshop section as its a gold mine in there and a few chaps have done fantastic walkthroughs to the most common problems of which there are not many compared to some bikes.

Hi there & welcome.
I did the move from IL4's about 3 years ago & have not looked back. I did ponder over which Vtwin to go for & nearly ended up with the SV1000 until I found out it had a serious electrical fault. The Italian stuff was too expensive & tends to always breakdown. Had a goosey at several TL's but found them to be a little too extreme for my age & posture. Then ended up with the Storm. Solid, value for money, definitely not the fastest or best handling one of the pack, but all that can be improved & anyways, who needs more speed by the end of 3rd gear you will already have blown you licence.

I bought my storm for two reasons.

Hello and welcome
If a 4 pound hammer & a spanner are your tools of choice, I'm sure you'll fit in nicely!

To post pics you need to use an online imaging hosting site like photobucket or equivalent. You then copy and paste the code across into your posts.
