As said, if you need any advice, just shout. Theres a few of us around the place that can always help out.
As Amc said, theres a ride out in Aug. there might be some from Paisley coming down on the Sat, look in the "ride out" section. Hell, book yourself some time of and join the Wales trip.

welcome to the forum buddy, I had a ten year gap from bikes and promply got wiped out by a van driver, take it easy buddy until you get the bikers sixth sense back, you know the one, its the one where everyone is trying to kill you, and in the end you can almost predict what the knobheads are going to do....
most of all have fun and enjoy the bike....

Echo what the guys say and yep, get a look at doing at least the stopper Mod on your CCT and defo your Reg/Rec if you've not got a finned one.. This place is an amazing source of info and all you need to know is on this forum....
