EBCs will buzz every time you stroke the lever, it is not just bedding in, it lasts for ever

I find myself using the noise as a bit of a guide when braking into corners, a bit like your exhaust note when accelerating out of corners.

That, and the excruciating pain through my wrists after riding all day! :-D
