Was thinking a high level side exit, similar to the 'scrambler' exhausts. What kind of diameters is the bit Im unsure of

Well, Corsa 1.3's seem to run best with a sawn-off grain silo bolted underneath, so maybe start there and work towards reality....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

i believe the standard header diameter to be 50mm, if i go ahead with my plan, i'd want an end can from a big bike(busa/zzr1400) with an inlet of 60mm, so the linkpipe would have to have a 10mm flare, i reckon that should be able to handle the v-twin pulse's, well just about anyways....
i also like the twin can on the same side, one above the other, like you see on the rc45.....

So if it's 60mm D how long is it? I'm thinking you could cut a bit of the end, make it into a stubby and then you could increase the diameter. :plainsmile
but would rather the performance not to suffer
Performance will suffer, but the question is where will it suffer as everything is a compromise. So what would require modding/upgradeing to compensate for the compromise.

depending on the length of the end can, i would be tempted to shorten it, but i like the racefit growler idea aswell, but that would be so loud....
its more likely to be a single side(nearside) big ti end can from a big bike, with either a custom made hi level or upswept linkpipe with a taper from 50mm to 60mm.....yes there will be a loss in out right power, but as long as i could get it to fuel correctly, i wouldn't mind.
its all wishful thinking at the mo, but if the right parts come up in the future....
carl did you find a link to the jap single exit headers?

I can ...here is a copy & pasted review from the site.

''Sound is somewhat louder than expected and is effective. [ of low-pitched sound ]
If an axel is opened, it can carry out skilled [ of the V-Twin sound ].
Finishing is also well pleasing.
The elongation of high rotation is also good.''

It's been translated from Japanese...into Mongolian buy the look of it !
