Yes that is right, the std Honda one is 3 pins, the new LED relay only has 2 coz that's all it uses. What you have to look out for is the different Honda item that is a 4 pin plug as it won't fit. On that one its a square plug, the one you need is flat with the pins in a row.

J&S Accessories do them but don't always have the 3 pin in stock. An easy way to do it is to take the std one off your bike & take it with you if you are getting one from a shop, then you can just ask for a LED relay to fit.
If buying on line just read the ad fully to make sure it's correct.

Whilst i'm waiting for the led indicators i have ordered i have received the led relay, is it ok if i put that on for now with the old indicators? there may be more questions when i get the indicators as i'm not sure about the colours of the wires, the new one's look different. :?

No dont put it on yet It wont work with the bulbs.

Re the wires, on the rear there are 3 connections on the loom, one is a double plug & then you have two more single plugs. Start off by putting two same coloured wires from the new indi's in the double plug then connect the other two to the single sockets.

Now try the Indi's.

One of two things will happen...

1/ They will work fine.

2/ They wont work as you have connected wrong colours to wrong plugs, easy fix just swap them over.

3/ The indi's will flash but on wrong side to switch direction...ie right flashes when you switch on left ...easy fix just swap over the two single wires.

4/ They work fine...box all all back up & go for a ride with a smug grin of a job done correctly...

5/ They wont work at all ...swear a lot & find something not connected to your bike to smash the shite out of with added swearing.

6/Ignore number 5 as they will be fine. Ignore number 2 as I don't think it will make a difference. Ignor number 7 as there isn't one.

I think it was just that the end of the wire that goes in the bullet connector was a bit smaller than the old ones, i just pinched them up a bit to make then tighter and that was it, 18 led's are a fair bit brighter.
