Same here I'm not sure I could bring myself to grassing someone up, but id sure as hell stop them driving, whether that meant me giving them a lift or by force is their choice I suppose

if you stop anybody drink driving by whatever means you are actually doing them a big favour as well as the general public. think of it like that?

Ooo, that's very low!

I wouldn't hesitate for a minute if I saw someone getting into their car to drive when clearly incapable. The argument about a 0mg limit is fallacious in my view as the nobs who drive over the current limit now aren't going to bother if the limit was nil.

Yes very true

another one that makes me laugh on these police programmes is when they get caught driving after being banned and just receive another ban! Clearly the first didn't work so im sure another wont make a difference

as a professional driver and a farther off three if i see a drunk driver i have always reported it and if i get paid for it this year so be it .

if the drunk driver is willingly putting my kids and my life in danger then they deserver what they get .

My brother got banned for DD, he continued to drive regardless & finally got caught again...3 months in the clink...

The real bastid thing about this cautionary tale is this. The same week he got 3 months for driving on a ban, a bloke in Bristol (IIRC) got a suspended sentence & a driving ban, for hitting & killing a 22yr old woman on a crossing. He didn't even have a licence at the time...Justice PAH !

BTW the brother has since lost his license for a 2nd time for...DD

Prat.

All DD'ers should be banned for life* & deserved to be grassed up IMO.

*Wont work they will still drive see above.

+1 on that mate, its a joke, if you get caught driving whilst on a ban, you should do time, just means we need more prisons....

That's a bit like people getting points on their license when they don't even have one.
