
fordstorm you have spun the cams over so many times now that it's hard to keep track where things are at or maybe I'm reading your post wrong. The way Sirch has described is the safest way to know for sure that things are correct. You wont know for sure if it's correct unless you have ridden the bike up to high revs, to the point of the limiter to tell if it's 180 out or not. Unfortunately one can't tell from how it starts and revs at idle.
At the end of the day mate we can only advice by what you tell us and it's up to your judgement as to if the bike is running correct or not.
I would start with the vacuum (PVILR) make sure this is put back onto the nipple towards the rear of the fuel tap on the left hand side behind the fuel hose not the bottom one pointing down. Then see how the bike runs and decide whether the timing is correct or not. It would be worth knowing what the jetting is in you carbs as it's always good for one to know where things are at and I can confirm Lloydie is correct with the standard jetting sizes.
