i had "arc eye" once from tig welding, bugger that was painful, you takes your eyes for granted. You soon learn once you have almost lost ya sight, Glasses for ever since and about £500 a year to boot. Plaster and cement are murder too.

Crikey you look well rough in that picture mate. Has the bad eye aged you 20 years
My eye glasses have saved me numerous times from getting crap in my eyes but every now and again something gets around the lens and catches me. If I'm lucky I will blink just in time to catch it (fast reflexes!). Spray is the worst one that seems to get me, Carb spray, that stings

There are times though when I think I should wear safety goggles. If not to save my eyes, but to save scratching the lens on my glasses.

eye patch off today, still hurts tho, and I've got blurred vision, I might have to see a specialist when I get back to the uk...

Still look on the bright side at least with blurred vision a blue Storm will look better...
Nah only joshing ya Marty...give it time the pain will ease & the blurriness will get, well less blurry.

thanks for the support gents, the eyes slowly getting better, I can still feel the object when I blink and my vision is still blurry, but fingers crossed it'll sort itself out, otherwise it'll be a trip to moorfields....

Just don't do what I have in the past, leave it in the hope it'll be aright after a nights sleep. If you have an eye injury get it looked at asap.

all mended now chaps, after 4 days of eye drops and a gel, my eye problem disappeared, I still continued the treatment for 8 or 9 days.
and I agree, get it looked at asap....
