welcome to the forum buddy, that's a nice clean bike, I must be getting old because I like the standard look, what ever changes you make, keep all the original parts, if ever you sell the bike in the future, it will help with the sale....

Haha I'm afraid I'm gonna disappoint you then, by modifying it I will keep all the originals, and I'm not going to make any changes that can't be reversed (cutting bodywork etc)

As the crow flies (that's the way you call it?) it isn't that far indeed, about 110 mile. I think for tourists Amsterdam is the most interesting city to visit (I wonder why ).

I have those migs although not in that good a condition as there in the Shed!, and Tonyman has tbe carbon ones. I have size 10 uk boots and never had any bother.

Thanks! I already declined the offer made by the seller. We couldn't get to an agreement, in my opinion he was asking too much money for it. Maybe when I will stumble upon a well priced set of those pipes I will buy them in the future.

I also forgot a modification that is waiting at my place to be installed. I have a set of clip-ons of a VFR750 ready to be mounted on the Storm.

I'm not going to make any changes that can't be reversed (cutting bodywork etc)

You may have an issue here as fairings may require trimming to allow for steering. It depends on whether you can live with the tight fit between the bar and fairing. A lot of folk have opted for high rise bars like renthals. Personally I prefer the later model (Black) vtr bars as they have a slightly higher rise than the early models and keep the original look.

Thanks for the heads up, I read somewhere that this could be an issue, but I also read it depends on which generation the VFR was. When you've got the right generation ('94-'97) clipons it should be a minor issue. Here is a topic on the superhawk forum about it. There are also different experiences. Only one way to find out so we'll see whenever I'm going to mount them

I hope it won't be too much of a hassle, and if so I will determine on that moment what I'm going to do. Probably before the spring I will give it a shot, along with steel braided brake lines for the front.

I will soon be looking for a set of new rubbers, have any of you got any experience with the Dunlop Road Smart II on the Storm?

It sure is nice, there aren't a lot of us here, at least the ones I noticed. I'm only aware of 1 other and that is Rob de Hoo, from exhausist.com (a lot of Storm parts available over there)
