@carl
Tnks for the info.
Very much appreciated! Washing down the bike I did with dreft (in England it is known as fairy I believe) . That works perfectly.
But getting the shine off the tank I thought was not possible. (Silly me, because I didn't look into it)
But I'll give your info a look, would be nice if I get the tank the same black matte "shine" as the rest of the fairing.

Good luck with getting the tank to match the fairings after a good clean, it does my bloody head in some days :lol: Although I imagine it's worse for you if it's been polished! :thumbdown:

Welcome to the forum, I'm always happy to see another matte black beauty!!

Another Dutchman :thumbup: I will continue in English otherwise everybody will think we're talking about them :)
Nice bike, I like the colour! Can I ask where'd you get those crashpads?

Also, maybe I've got another interesting link for you, when you haven't discovered it yet. it's this one.

Good luck with the mods!

Ebay!
Loaded with them, these are from the U.S. , still costing enough, but cheaper than new fairings, (on the stupid mistakes)

What a coincidence, the bike you show is owned by somebody who lives maybe 10 minutes from my place. Since that picture there has been some progress, I don't know everything but I do know he had his frame and swingarm coated black and his fairings are now being painted. He wouldn't tell me what the colour will be, so that will be a surprise :think:

His other bike is also quite modified, it has the front/side fairing of a cbr '05 if I'm correct. (and many other mods)
