Cheers for the welcomes...

The only issues i've come across in the first few days is the very top petrol bar not lighting up when i fill up. It does work as it comes on when i turn the ignition on, so maybe something not quite right with whatever detects the fuel level?

The only other annoying thing is the choke. I pull it out to start the bike, but it goes back in a few mm on it's own, which doesn't give it the engine enough revs to tick over. I'm having to stand there holding it out for a minute or so until the bike warms up. The amount of revs from the choke could be easily changed on my old bike - is it fairly simple on this?

Tighten the lock ring under the rubber hood behind the choke knob and it will lock it

Cheers, i'll give it a try.

Battery was dead this morning!!

Its got an alarm and has only done a few hundred miles over the past 3/4 years, so i'm hoping its just the battery drained.
