All of that for a little gasket? Might be a bit beyond me that one. Aint got the right tools/stuff to do it either.
I did already download the manual though. So I'll take a look anyway and see what my options are. It is working fine as it is but just blows a little bit out of that section. Passed MOT though

You're doing a good job there
You should be very proud of what you have achieved with your Dad's old bike, I'm sure he would be,
Chris.
Thanks mate - that means a lot

Already doing ok. Restored quite a lot of bits and fixed some major bodges that were found on it (from the person who had it several owners ago)
It has taken a lot of work to get back on the road and I have a fair bit left to do. CCT's next, exhaust downpipe repair, Reg/Rec, stock pegs to go on, full suspension setup with the maxton in the rear, some new levers if I can and a respray at some point. Thats just a small list. I really want to make it as perfect as possible out of respect. I am riding it as much as I can and I am developing a love for it. Which I did not expect coming from a CBR600FY. Which is a very different feel indeed. Toying with the idea of some bar risers to help the back a bit and maybe a taller screen. But I love the look how it is now. I don't want to mess with it too much, but make it as excellent under the hood(fairings?) as possible.
