All sorted out now, it will be posted tomorrow, Tuesday.

I was in a hotel in winchester all weekend; they block the internet to make you buy some of theirs, I think, so I could only log on from the pub....Apologies for delays in responding.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Dont worry mate, as i said before no rush, still have many other things to do on the bike :)

I've been meaning to ask this for ages. This TPS thingy. Is it just a later model thing or does my '98 model have it as well?

Every firestorm has it - Mine is a 98 as well :)

Yep all years have them and they are all set hight to lower emissions .

Since my bike idles solidly and never farts or stalls, picks up and runs nicely on part throttle I'm going to leave well alone!
