Those are the same as I used, only from another brand. Biltema in Norway is a store with cheap stuff and tools, but things like these discs are nice to buy here. £6 for one disc, and they have three different colours, each for different grade. I used the finest, but would be happy to find a finer one.

Happily the damper and everything inside the pipe was not damaged!

You would never have guessed nothing inside got damaged after seeing the photo of the bent stanchion, you were lucky there.

Chinese Fairings...I like the Red Flames it gives some fire to the storm. You have me thinking now, Yellow/gold or Red with Black I'm think ing I would like some Golden flames along with golden anodised bits and wheels.

Mmmm maybe the flames are a bit over kill.
See the following thread for Fork rebuild.

Yes... we call those chrome bits Stanchions not pipes otherwise is could cause confusion with your exhaust. The lowers are caller...you guessed it, fork lowers. You may as well upgrade the springs while your in there.

Hex is the generic name, Allen and, I think, 'Unbraco' is a trade name >

Unbrako is used in other countries, e.g. Australia. It's a proprietory name for a general tool. In England we often call a Vacuum Cleaner a "Hoover". Hoover is a manufacturer that makes vacuum cleaners. Unbrako (the manufacturer) make hex tools. Unbrako is rarely used in the UK.

You could have done them in White then it would look like the bike is flying through the snow

Looking good mate. You will have a very clean looking VTR by the time you have finished. As good as new.

Make sure you clean the powder coat off where the brake discs mount to the wheel, it's a machined surface and needs to be flat, bare metal.
