Mrs M is reeling from her unexpected defeat but fighting back in readiness for next year.

I have informed her of the need for £700 quid's worth of slipper clutch for the sp2 I bought on the promise that I wouldn't "improve" and, having moved swiftly through the "looking as though I have cheated on her" and "reminding me how hard it has been to keep trying to pay off the last of the mortgage" phases, has now entered the final phase, namely " don't talk to me about it, you always do what you want anyway, never mind the rest of the family", which gives me permission to place the order.

Good on you , girl, that should get you ahead in next year's poll.

I will leave it a month or two to show that I am grateful.

TBH the poor woman needs a special award just for putting up with you let alone putting up with your Storm/SP fetish...
