I can now go next door and sound like I know about Horses ......... I suspect his are hot blooded as they are lean and light and if they are not at full gallop they keep trying to get the rider off their back .

is there a cold blooded horse... Shire horses? - [I resisted more jokes about the fact they don't give a sh1t about other horses etc]

What you want is a battle horse like the type brought over from Europe not one of the old English working horses....apparently. This is why William the conquer won. Mark your a man of many talents but horses you do surprise me. I bet they are you chat up line too.

the only time I rode a horse was on a pony trekking weekend about 30 odd years ago. I was fit young thing then but it still made muscles ache that I didn't even know I had !.

I didn't really like it because I felt the horse wasn't really concentrating? it kept trying to eat things out of the hedge as it was ambling along .. my main motive for going was that I was accompanying my relatively new girlfriend and 3 of her mates

I don't think any horse would pass the steering/braking part of an MoT which worries me.

overall its not for me and the question I want answered is why do posh women insist on mooching round country lanes ,2 abreast and then look so offended when you have the audacity to give them a second glance or tut at them when they have nearly caused an accident. Why don't they walk along the edges of the fields ??

That's simple to answer as we don't have as many bridleways or roads designed for horses because we are not in Robin hood times and the roads are now designed for motorised vehicles that travel at higher speeds. What we should be doing is abandoning the motorised vehicles and all getting back in the saddle or walk. Swap the garages attached to houses to a stable.

Can't you just find us a robot horse which is traffic friendly and doesn't crop on the biking line
