bike looks great, shame about the weather!!

the seat can be fiddly, there are 2 hooks half way along that need to disconnect as well as the locking pin at the back.

so hold the lock open on the key, put your other hand at the front of the seat cowl/cover [easier if the cowl is off as you can just grab the seat strap they the cowl is covering], then push down then back then up to disengage the hooks. and it should pop up.

once its up you can see the hooks and loops. some people take the hooks off the seat base. I didn't but I hammered the loops so they sit further forwards

Top man, bike looks cracking.

If your doing the mcct yourself take your time. Read the instructions several time and expect that the inspection plug will end up being ruined.

Other than that it's straight forward, but time consuming.

Thanks, I think I’ll do it myself, I’ll 100% take my time, I’ve seen the thread on how to do it and looks a tad complex but think I should be ok eek... out of interest how much do you think it would cost for a garage to do it? I’m guessing a lot in labour!

Is it a wigggle and persist or is there a trick to opening it?

Twiddle the key - and pull the seat back and up at the same time.

Whatever you do,do not try to start the bike up until you have turned it over a couple of times BY HAND to make sure all is free and not snagging when cct's are fitted.

Good there should be a rubber cord that retains the toolkit from bouncing about - attached on the hooky fings either side on the black under tray.

Finally managed to get out on the bike for the first time!! Woooooooohooooooo and I’m in love! So much more fun then my Ducati 748s, so pleased! She’s powerful, fast and full of grunt! And my back doesn’t feel broken more my wrist. I’m def gonna change the pipes for a little more fruity number. She’s the best bike I think I’ve ever had! I’m still smiling
