Sirch345,
mate all I see is mostly red VTRs around here and the occasional black one. A couple of yellow kicking around, but they never seem to be getting ridden anywhere,

. And the blue, well I've only seen them on the showroom floor and I'm happy to say I think that is where that colour should stay, I just don't like it.
But as long as there are VTRs on the road I'm happy.

Thanks for the warm welcome really appreciated .....
Candy = girly girl not male .... dear gawd the thought of that!
Kaz: Didn't buy in darlington so rest assured your beast is not parked under my rear end.
Yellow ... now that's a good question - usually I hate yellow but the Storm just blew me away in this colour - some ppl just can't be helped, eh?
I'm not from down under - actually originate from SA but that's all in the past ...last bike I had was 2 yrs ago prior to emigrating (GPZ900) she was old but well loved and never let me down.
So back on the road now and having an amazing time of it. Love the twisty windy roads here.
I'm also into vintage bikes and used to do time trials on a 1936 Royal Enfield B30 - great fun!!

Red, red, red everyone's got a red one. Get a yellow and stand out from the crowd!! I didn't realise that you had such good taste Kaz.

that was my bestest colour.
Yeah, why did they go & change that? The pre-2000 (I think) yellow was so much richer. The newer ones, by comparison, look like they need another coat.

I don't mind the silver, actually. Ran into a fella (not literally, don't panic) on a matt black today & they're growing on me. Always the way though. Finally read the CCT stuff & decided that yes, my baby has that problem, so had dropped her off at the shop & was on a GPZ750 (courtesy bike). Had a chat with Matt Black, but got the impression he thought I was lying about having my own stormy babe! How distressing...

VTR1000KAZ wrote:ok... so maybe i was wrong.......why do you aussies always abbreviate things..... I wondered what the feck qsld was at first !!!!!
whats wrong with typing out the full name a couple of times til we all get used to it !!!!!
its all so confusing !!!!!!!!
South Africa still has better wines than South Australia anyway

Taz you were right the first time I am from South Africa - not Australia .... sorry bout the confusion didn't realize we weren't the only ones that used the abreviation.
